Square collection of beautiful photos
Artist's Comments
Apparently it's Elsie Hooper day, because that's all I've finished lately.
This is Elsie herself, again. I ran across one of Kryzkowski's images of her which I thought was actually quite pretty, and which I completely and totally failed to replicate. I also learned that using charcoal on smooth paper is like drawing with a fat, smudgy pencil. I don't think I'll be using charcoal on printer paper anytime soon. Why is it that every image of Elsie looks so sad...? If you can't read the smudged-up lyrics-- I smudged them deliberately and hey, it looks good on paper -- the song can be heard here. I don't know, it kind of reminded me of Ridley when I heard the song. Elsie Hooper and all related material are property of Robert Krzykowski. |
